Attached is a letter sent on December 27, 2011, by the president of Vertex Standard Co., Ltd., announcing a corporate reorganization which places the Yaesu and Standard amateur, marine, and air band radio businesses under the Yaesu Musen Co., Ltd., name and transfers the Vertex Standard land mobile radio business to Motorola. Several months ago, it was announced that the entire Yaesu-Vertex-Standard business had been purchased by Motorola, but apparently that relationship has been partially dissolved. Yaesu remains wholly owned by the family of the company's original founder.
