The Hoosier Hills (Bedford) Hamfest is the first Saturday in October at the Lawrence County 4H Fairgrounds, just off of US-50, west of SR-37.

Talk-in is on the 146.730 (107.2PL) Repeater in Bedford.

Hamfest Grand Prize is $200.00 in cash.+

Hourly door prizes* including ARRL store gift certificates, ending with the $200 cash Grand Prize+. Vendors and flea market (tailgate) will be set up inside the main building with outside on the parking lot as the sellers option. There will be lots of "treasures" for you to purchase. We will have foxhunt demonstrations, and forums. Breakfast and lunch items will be available at the food court inside the main building. Then Bingo from 12 noon until 1 pm. Doors open to the public at 8 am on Saturday. You really don't want to miss this years Hoosier Hills Hamfest!!! *NOTE: We will be selling all tickets at the main entrance to the main building this year. Find yourself a parking spot and come on inside.

Admission

We will be selling all admission tickets at the south entry door next to the overhead garage door. Admission for everyone 12 years and older is five dollars ($5), children under 12 are FREE with a paid adult. All tickets sold and placed in the "cage" are eligable for hourly door prizes and the $200 Hoosier Hills Hamfest Grand Prize.
(Children 15 and under must be accompanied by an adult)
Vendors & Inside Flea Market

Exhibitors inside the main building, will be supplied 1 table for each 10 ft x 10 ft space and the price is just $10 per space (Plus admission) and will be allocated on a first come first serve basis. Discounts available for quantity space rental. Inside Flea Market spaces are $5 each if you supply your own table. (A Table Is Required for each space) Spaces can be reserved in advance by contacting the club's hamfest contact person, W.W. - KB9TMP. Power is available, but you will need to supply any extension cords.
Outdoor Flea Market (Tailgate)

Flea Market (Tailgate) sellers are encouraged to come inside the main building for protection from the weather. If you choose to stay outside the fee is $5 for up to 20 ft of space on the blacktop tailgate area. (no tables provided) The fee will be collected in addition to the admission price. Driving "tent" stakes into the blacktop is not allowed for any reason. (4H Fairgound rules)
Set-Up For Vendors & Flea Market (Tailgate)

A drawing of the main building exhibit hall and map of the fairgrounds is available below. Vendors and those tailgate flea market, will have access to the fairgrounds Saturday morning at 6am for setup.
All entry & vendor/tailgate fees will be collected at the ticket booth.
Camping

Those who are camping overnight will need to make arrangements with the Lawrence County 4H Fairgrounds at the time you set up. The fairgrounds caretaker lives onsite on the south west corner of the blacktop parking lot. The HHHC does not charge for your camping and receives no proceeds from the camping fees charged. The Lawrence County 4H Fairground charges $20 overnight with electricity and water hookup*. Primitave (no water or electricity) is $10 overnight*. Showers and restrooms are available for both styles of camping. * 2014 Prices
VE Testing

ARRL VE testing will be offered to those interested. Test registration will begin at 9:30 am local time and testing will begin at 10am. Test fee is $15 and you will need to bring a "PHOTO" ID to test. If you're planning on upgrading, please bring a photocopy of your current license also.
